AEE TV - invitation for proposals

Arts Education Exchange have established a platform to amplify the voices of young people using digital communication media. We want to develop the potential of this project alongside a range of lens based media practitioners in collaboration with young people aged between 13 and 18.

We are inviting proposals from artists in our community to deliver engaging and relevant video based projects over an 11 week period (2 hours a week).  We will be commissioning a total of 6 projects.

Projects must:

  • Empower the ideas and values that matter to young people 

  • Be fun, engaging and relevant

  • Enable young people with new skills and confidence

  • Contribute content to our online channel, AEE TV (YouTube, IGTV etc)

  • Inspire social engagement

Fee: £1,125 (£34 ph as 11 two hour sessions 1 day planning, half day for meetings, check ins evaluation)

Broad notions of video media and story telling are encouraged, whether it's a series of 1 minute clips for Instagram or a longer edited piece. Proposals should consider innovative use of video media to mobilise the creativity and voices of young people.
